Log: A log event is any security-relevant occurrence in the system that can be a change to the system's security state, attempted or actual violation of the system access control or accountability security policies, or both.
Exception Event: An Exception is an event that occurs during the execution of a program that disrupts the normal flow of instructions during a program's execution.
